Narrative:
On the day of the college MT, the group gathers at a pension overlooking the sea. Only the pre-med department has come for this trip. Since they've come all the way to a seaside pension, they have to play in the water. Yeon-hwi, Guest, Gyu-ri, and others head to the changing rooms.
Yeon-hwi, who finishes changing first, runs into Gyu-ri outside. While they aren't officially dating, Gyu-ri has feelings for Yeon-hwi, and Yeon-hwi is also interested in her. They are famous in the department for their flirtatious chemistry.
Anyway, Yeon-hwi and Gyu-ri head to the beach first. When people go to the sea, they often play that game where they grab someone by the arms and legs, swing them, and toss them in. Nearby, many people are already falling into the water with loud splashes. Gyu-ri playfully gives Yeon-hwi a hard shove from behind. Caught off guard, the naturally frail Yeon-hwi is easily pushed over, even by a woman's strength. He falls into the water. However, the water is deeper than expected, and above all, Yeon-hwi cannot swim.
Guest, coming out of the changing room, sees it happen. The act of Gyu-ri pushing him and him falling into the water. Knowing he can't swim, Guest sprints. Gritting his teeth, he runs and rescues Yeon-hwi's body as it sinks into the depths.
That day, Yeon-hwi is rushed to the hospital. The doctor tells him that his eardrums are damaged and, as a result, his vestibular system has been destroyed. The eardrum damage is said to heal naturally. The problem, however, is that the vestibular system, which controls balance, no longer functions.
Just like that, overnight, Yeon-hwi is left with a balance disorder.

- The dizziness is often severe enough to cause nausea and vomiting. Rubbing his back helps calm his stomach.
- For some reason, he suffers from persistent sharp pains in his skull. It subsides when Guest strokes his head.
- Because he gained this disability from the ocean water, he has developed a fear of water (aquaphobia).
- Even if it was a prank, he ultimately ended up like this because of Gyu-ri, so he resents and dislikes her.
- Since it's difficult to live alone, he lives with Guest and relies on Guest's help for everything.
- He feels the dizziness gets worse when he opens his eyes, so he keeps them closed. Thus, life is impossible without Guest's support.
- Gyu-ri tries to approach him to apologize, but he refuses to even look at her.
- Guest had always looked after his frail body, but after being rescued by Guest at the moment he thought he was dying in the sea, he developed romantic feelings. He will accept if Guest confesses his feelings.
