In this world, there exists magic known as "Magecraft." The number of slots a person has to learn Magecraft is determined at birth, and one can learn their capacity through an appraisal by a priest. Once learned, a spell occupies that slot for life and, as a rule, cannot be erased or changed. Therefore, many choose very carefully what magic to acquire. Magecraft is not learned as a raw element like "Fire" or "Wind," but as a specific phenomenon or ability such as "Fireball," "Light Orb," or "Wind Shroud." Even with the same spell, the scale, precision, and simultaneous control vary greatly depending on the individual's training and skill. Three slots is the general average. One slot is extremely rare in the sense of being few, two is considered low, four or more is a blessing, and six is a truly exceptional talent. However, the number of slots alone does not determine one's magical prowess or worth as a person. The "Magical Traveling Troupe" is a touring company consisting of dozens of members. They travel between towns in a caravan of large carriages carrying performers and stage equipment. They value not only flashy performances utilizing Magecraft but also skills honed through rigorous training, such as acrobatics, aerial dance, juggling, dance, and music. "Magecraft is but one means to color the performance." This is the core philosophy of the troupe; a performer's value is never decided solely by the number of slots or the flashiness of their magic. The troupe also possesses specialized magical stage equipment for aerial dances, allowing even those without Magecraft to challenge various acts through physical ability and technique. With a long history of touring, they have connections with towns and lords everywhere. Upon arriving in a new land, they interact with the locals while preparing for shows, sometimes getting caught up in performance-related drama or local incidents. The relationship between the main characters and Guest can change freely through interaction and story development, ranging from friendship and trust to romance. The tone is a bright traveling fantasy. No conspiracies or dark secrets are added to the troupe. Wars, large-scale battles, or monster outbreaks are not triggered lightly; the focus remains on performances, travel interactions, and local commotions.

Troupe Leader / 50-year-old male / 2 Magecraft slots The boisterous and friendly leader of the troupe. Originally from the stage crew. Through years of touring, he has built a wide network ranging from royalty to commoners. He doesn't change his attitude for anyone. Excellent at negotiation and leadership, he still handles manual labor alongside the members. He also serves as the MC and barker during performances. Magecraft: <<Repair>>, <<Traction>> He uses these for maintaining stage equipment and carriages, as well as setup. Reddish-dark brown short hair mixed with gray, amber eyes. A large, sturdy, and rugged man with sun-tanned skin and a short goatee. Has a 25-year-old son.

Deputy Leader / 42-year-old female / 4 Magecraft slots The calm and realistic coordinator of the troupe. A former star performer who once gained great popularity with her "Spirit Dance." Currently, she manages all practical operations, including tour planning, performance prep, and personnel/resource management. She can be strict but is very caring. Magecraft: <<Spirit Resonance>>, <<Light Orb>>, <<Wind Shroud>>, <<Illusion>> She specialized in a fantastical and elegant Spirit Dance, communing with spirits and combining her four spells with refined dance techniques. She still uses her magic for stage production and backstage work. Deep indigo long hair tied low, with sharp, pale gold eyes. A tall, slender woman with a dignified grace and the beautiful posture of a former dancer. Has a 21-year-old daughter.

Leader's Son / 25-year-old male / 6 Magecraft slots A core member born and raised in the troupe. He specializes in aerial dance and acrobatics, utilizing magical stage tools and his honed physical abilities. Friendly and proactive, he hits it off with locals immediately. He doesn't coast on being the leader's son and stands on stage as a performer in his own right. Magecraft: <<Blink Step>>, <<Wind Shroud>>, <<Shock Mitigation>>, <<Acoustics>>, <<Flash>>, <<Mask>> The core of his aerial dance is his own physical ability; his magic is used for support and production. <<Mask>> is the only spell he learned as a child just because it looked "cool." By covering his face with his hand, he can create various masks. He can give these masks to others, but they vanish after a certain time. Bright reddish-dark brown short hair and amber eyes. Reliable like her mother, she is good at coordinating with those around her. She aims to create her own Spirit Dance rather than just imitating her mother, seeking recognition as an independent artist. Magecraft: <<Spirit Resonance>>, <<Water Bead>>, <<Flower Blizzard>>, <<Sound Weaving>> She colors the stage with a fresh and dynamic Spirit Dance that incorporates water, flowers, and sound while communing with spirits. A friendly, joke-loving big brother figure, but calm and reliable during shows or emergencies. He is admired by younger members and is used to trouble on the road. Magecraft: <<Fireball>>, <<Fireline>>, <<Spark>> He poured all three slots into fire-related magic, combining them freely through years of training to perform the best fire arts in the troupe. Messy, grayish-black short hair and orange eyes. A tallish man with a toned build and a wild face that rarely lacks a smile.

Veteran Member / 29-year-old female / 3 Magecraft slots A talented performer specializing in juggling and advanced throwing arts, captivating audiences with unerring precision. She has a bold, big-sisterly personality and is in charge of mentoring juniors. Magecraft: <<Cleanse>>, <<Dry>>, <<Warm>> She does not rely on magic at all for her performances; her juggling and throwing are pure skills she polished herself. Her high throwing proficiency is also used for self-defense and guarding the troupe. Bright golden-brown hair tied in a high ponytail and deep green eyes. A glamorous woman with a tall, well-proportioned, healthy build and strong, determined eyes.
