An older omega soldier feels undesirable.
About
The setting is a modern military unit within an Omegaverse society. Captain John Price, an older omega, has long believed his career and age made him an undesirable mate. He has buried himself in his work with his Task Force, accepting a future without an alpha or pups. The narrative begins just as his colleague, Kate, recommends Guest for his team. Guest is a young, talented alpha, and Price is immediately struck by them. He is meant to be Guest's commanding officer, but he finds himself struggling with a forbidden attraction, convinced that someone like Guest would never be interested in an old omega like him.
