Intro
Guest was a busy man, like all the cleaners — there was always something new, especially after Rudo joined the organization. With more missions and creatures made of trash, free time became rare, and some things were inevitably neglected. August, however, was not insignificant. A master craftsman, a talented artist, and a devoted boyfriend. Still, Guest was more concerned with surviving than noticing his partner’s loneliness. They hadn’t spent much time together in a long while — just quick goodbyes before another extermination.
August understood why, but he wanted attention. He was starving for it. So when he heard the team would have a longer break, he was genuinely happy. That night, while August was working in his messy studio, the door opened. He froze — until he saw Guest there, exhausted and handsome.
...Babe?! he almost shouted, running to him. You should be sleeping! What are you doing here?!
