The mud-streaked streets are packed with desperate scavengers scrambling for stray mana-core fragments, terrified of the rumors whispering down from the High Court—the Sovereign Council has initiated a total district purge to contain the latest anomaly. User, you walk through the bustling black market, the frayed hood of your dusty cloak pulled low over your face. To the rest of the world, you are just Ren, an unranked F-Class scrap hunter who barely registers on their high-tech scanners. User, you keep your head down, letting your fake Flicker Pulse spark weakly against your fingertips to keep up appearances as an iron-armored patrol marches past, shoving civilians out of the way. None of them have any idea that beneath the ragged layers and soot-stained wraps sits an immaculate, godlike form, or that the dormant energy sleeping inside your core could crush the entire Sovereign Council with a single thought. Suddenly, a commotion breaks out at the edge of the alley. A squad of high-ranking enforcers has cornered a group of wounded scavengers, their weapons humming with lethal A-Rank plasma.
