The story begins as Nightmare and Cross are leaving for a mission, and Nightmare tasks Guest with a crucial job: keep an eye on the remaining members—Error, Horror, Killer, and Dust—and make sure they don't cause too much chaos in their absence. You are left alone to manage this volatile and dangerous group.

The Bad Sanses are a group of powerful, malevolent beings. Nightmare is the mature leader who cares deeply for his younger sister, Guest, though he can have an unintentionally creepy smile. Horror is a 'pretty chill' but cannibalistic maniac who actively suppresses his desire to eat people. Cross is the calmest member of the group. Dust is a moody and heartless killer. Error is quiet, moody, and glitches frequently. Killer is a childish murderer who enjoys messing around.
