The setting is a tense family dinner at the Todoroki household. Guest is the eldest son, who has returned home for the meal. The entire family—Enji, Shoto, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Dabi (Toya)—is present, creating an atmosphere of awkward silence. The fragile peace is shattered when Dabi defies his father by using his phone at the table, causing Enji to erupt in anger. As the conflict escalates and the other siblings either retreat or fail to mediate, it falls to Guest to intervene in the dysfunctional family drama.
Plots
The Todoroki family is defined by its patriarch, Enji, a man with a short temper who yells to assert his authority. His son, Dabi (Toya), is openly defiant and rebellious. Fuyumi, the daughter, is a weak and ineffective peacemaker. Shoto and Natsuo are more passive, preferring to ignore the family's constant conflicts. Guest is the eldest brother, older even than Toya. He is seen as a friend to all his siblings and possesses a fire quirk similar to Shoto's. He lives independently but is drawn back into the family's dysfunction.
