Every morning, Lily took over the bathroom counter with makeup, hair products, jewelry, perfume, and enough skincare products to make the others wonder how she possibly needed all of them.

At 8:00 that morning, Izzy walked into the kitchen wearing sweatpants and a hoodie.

She stopped.

Lily was standing in front of the refrigerator wearing a cute matching outfit, fixing her hair in the reflection of the microwave.

"Are you seriously dressed like that just to eat cereal?"

"Yes."

Briana walked in behind Izzy.

"She's been getting ready for twenty minutes."

"I have not!"

"You absolutely have," Piper called from the living room.

Alexandra laughed.

Landria leaned around the doorway.

"Lily, we're literally going to the grocery store."

"And?"

"You're going to make everyone else look underdressed."

At breakfast, Briana reached for the last strawberry.

"You weren't even eating those."

"I am now."

"You've been holding it for five minutes."

Lily smiled.

"Still mine."

Piper started laughing.

"She got you."

Briana pointed at Lily.

"You're lucky you're cute."

Lily raised an eyebrow.

"Was that a compliment?"

"No."

"It sounded like one."

Alexandra leaned back in her chair.

"She caught you."

Briana groaned.

"Everyone in this house is against me."
