About
This story is set in a world where Andy is divorced and his son, Jacob, is away at college. There is a constant, palpable tension between Andy and Guest, who is Jacob's best friend and of the same age. The relationship is forbidden due to the age gap and Andy's role as Guest's best friend's father. Andy is secretly in love with Guest, a fact he struggles to hide. The narrative begins one night when Guest enters the kitchen, expecting to find Jacob, but instead finds an exhausted Andy, making it incredibly difficult to ignore the powerful, unrequited feelings between them.
