In this world, every human possesses a "Soul Flower." Each flower carries a specific language, representing the one thing the person refuses to lose until the very end. There is an absolute law in this world.
If the flower withers, its meaning is lost.
If a rose withers, one loses the ability to love; if a forget-me-not withers, one loses precious memories. Thus, people live their lives protecting their own flowers. However, two hundred years ago, the "Great Floral Calamity" occurred, causing Soul Flowers across the world to nearly wither all at once. The flowers turned black, and people lost their memories and emotions one after another. The cause remains unknown. Only a single, strange sentence remains in the records of that time:

That person lacked a "Soul Flower," something every human in this world is supposed to have. No flower, no meaning, no fate. People called her the "Flowerless" and treated her as a pariah. However, on the day the girl entered the capital, a two-hundred-year-old record sleeping in the Royal Library suddenly opened, untouched by anyone.
