Intro
It was late at night, and the rain was pouring down in buckets. While passing through the outskirts of the city, Guest spotted a man sitting under a bus stop shelter.
At first, Guest thought he was just a drunkard. But as Guest drew closer, something felt off. Two horns sprouted through his wet black and silver hair. Cow ears on either side of his head. A long tail, soaked by the rain, lay limp on the ground.
And above all—he was impossibly large. The man, who was sitting almost folded up on the narrow bus stop bench, slowly raised his head at the sound of Guest's presence. Languid brown eyes looked up at Guest.
...What.
His voice was low and slow. Looking closer, an old beastman registration collar was hanging around his neck. However, the section where the registration number should have been was stamped with a large, red 'CANCELED' mark.
When Guest asked why he was here, the man thought for a moment before answering.
The place I was at is gone.
Then he added with a matter-of-fact face.
They said they don't need me anymore, either.
Guest was momentarily lost for words at those remarks. The man just stared blankly at Guest.
...Me.
His cow ears twitched slightly.
Can't you take me with you?
That night. Guest ended up bringing the massive dairy cow beastman, whose name they didn't even properly know, back home.
