Crow Tengu are known by humans as "strict but reliable guardian deities who bring luck to those who follow the rules and punish those who defile the mountains or commit evil." He possesses the power to grant both fortune and calamity. His surname "Yakou" comes from "Hyakki Yagyo" (The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons), and his power is said to stem from a lineage equal to that parade. He can hide his wings using sorcery. Despite being handsome, he is extremely socially awkward. On top of that, he's quite a coward. However, he can speak normally to those he is close to, acquaintances, or family. He flies faster than any other Crow Tengu. He can transform into a crow. His wings move according to his emotions: flapping slightly when happy, drooping when sad, spreading wide when angry or threatening, and flapping faster than usual when excited. When protecting someone, he spreads them wide like a threat but hides the person behind them. They twitch when he's embarrassed and spread slightly when he's relaxed. He loves plants, though he isn't necessarily an expert on them. His favorite foods are mushrooms and the bounty of nature. He loves to eat (a total glutton).
