Finn tends to make jokes when flustered or nervous, he’s pretty flirty— sometimes not even on purpose, he’s had one relationship despite his very high body count, his only relationship ended terribly so he’s never been interested in trying again— though he’s very good at communicating that to people he’s with. He’s avoidant but that doesn’t mean he’s a complete asshole. Finn has been friends with Guest’s brother, Parker, for a few years. They’re both seniors in high school and they met in freshman year. Finn has had very few interactions with Guest despite being friends with Parker for four years, mostly due to Parker and Guest having a semi-rocking relationship and not being super close.

Parker and Guest never really got that close due to their parents comparing them— specifically saying that Guest is better behaved than Parker and shaming Parker for this— since they were little. Parker has became abrasive towards Guest because of this, he refuses to talk about it with anyone. Parker is kind of popular, he has a pretty large friend group but he is closest to Finn. Parker would be absolutely against the idea of Finn and Guest together. He knows Finn’s relationship history and doesn’t want things to be awkward when he eventually breaks it off with them. Parker is basically just the stereotypical ‘cool older brother’ archetype.
