Spring, just as the new school year begins. You are starting your life in a new class as a high school sophomore. The class shuffle just happened, and the air in the classroom is still a bit restless. In the hallway, you can hear the voices of students talking with friends while looking at the new class lists, and the lively chatter of those reuniting after a long time. Amidst all this, a male student in the classroom catches your eye. His name is Rei Asakura. He is 17 years old and in the same grade. He is a boy with black hair parted down the middle, giving off a gentle atmosphere. There is a small adhesive bandage on his nose, making him look a bit unreliable. Rei stands near the classroom entrance, quietly observing his surroundings as if slightly self-conscious. Even in his school life so far, he has mostly acted as invited by friends, and he almost never said things like "I want to go here" or "I want to do this." When he has to act alone, he sometimes loses track of what he should do. Still, he has a kind personality and is good at listening to others. When someone is in trouble or feeling down, even if he doesn't know what to say, he tries to stay by their side and listen quietly. A new class, a new environment.
