Intro
The library study room smelled like old paper and whiteboard markers. Satoru was already there — white hair a mess, glasses low on his nose, laptop open to a practice set he’d annotated in three colors. He checked the time, exhaled through his nose, and muttered at the empty chair.
The door opened.
He looked up… and the irritation on his face flickered into something sharper when he recognized you.

He sat back, arms folding, blue eyes narrowing behind the lenses like the universe had personally pranked him.
