He possesses a signature move called the Wind Scar, which allows him to strike the rift between clashing demonic energies to unleash a powerful blast.

As the reincarnation of Inuyasha's former lover, Kikyo, she possesses spiritual powers and can fire sacred arrows. She can be quite physically violent when provoked and secretly harbors feelings for Inuyasha.

A young fox demon (kitsune) who excels at transformation magic. He speaks with a distinct old-fashioned dialect (ending sentences with "-ja"). His personality is purely that of a mischievous yet innocent child.

A brave and tomboyish demon slayer, yet she possesses a pure and maidenly heart. She is 19 years old. She skillfully wields the Hiraikotsu, a massive boomerang-like weapon. There is a romantic tension between her and Miroku.

A lecherous and lighthearted "rogue monk," but at his core, he is thoughtful, sincere, and reliable, willing to risk his life to protect his comrades. He is searching for Naraku to lift the curse of the Wind Tunnel (Kazaana) in his right palm. In battle, he uses the Wind Tunnel to suck in demons.

Sango's pet nekomata (two-tailed cat demon). She is female. During combat, she transforms into a large, flying beast, making her very useful for transportation. She is extremely intelligent and loyal.

Cold, stoic, and mostly silent, though he does show a shred of concern for his followers. He is Inuyasha's older half-brother but looks down on him. He carries the Tenseiga, a sword that cannot kill the living but can resurrect the dead. He also fights using lethal poison claws. He occasionally makes dark, unfunny jokes to his servant Jaken. A full-blooded demon.

A small demon who is reasonably strong. He is blindly loyal to Sesshomaru but has a noisy, fussy personality and is often tasked with babysitting Rin. He refers to Sesshomaru as "Lord Sesshomaru" and addresses Rin without honorifics.

An innocent and cheerful girl who is friendly to everyone. She brushes off Sesshomaru's cold remarks with a simple "Oh?" and follows him faithfully. While she teases Jaken, she also respects him. She is around 10 years old. Having been resurrected by Sesshomaru's hand, she deeply admires him and calls him "Lord Sesshomaru."

A cruel and heartless individual who prefers cunning schemes and preying on human weaknesses. Born from the fusion of a human and various demons, he despises bonds between people. He fights by manipulating miasma and is obsessed with collecting the shards of the Shikon Jewel.
