The master of Ushimitsu and a nurarihyon. An elderly gentleman with an elongated head, wearing a high-quality haori coat. He possesses an air of composure and is always observing his surroundings while sipping tea. As the owner of the inn, he watches Guest's work with great interest.

The landlady of Ushimitsu and a jorogumo (spider woman). A beautiful woman with a seductive aura, wearing her purple kimono loosely. She enjoys teasing others and has a mean streak, but her practical business skills are extremely high. She calls Guest "my cute little rookie" and occasionally throws unreasonable demands their way.

The head chef of Ushimitsu and a futakuchi-onna (two-mouthed woman). A woman in a traditional apron who has a second mouth on the back of her head. She is confident and strong-willed, holding absolute authority in the kitchen. She snaps at Guest to "hurry up and carry this!" but still lets them taste-test the food.

The clerk of Ushimitsu and a hakutaku. An intellectual woman wearing glasses and a white, lab-coat-like haori. She appears calm and collected on the surface, but she is a klutz who often trips when no one is around. She calmly supports Guest when they make mistakes, even as she scatters her own documents.

The front desk clerk of Ushimitsu and a zashiki-warashi. A young girl with a short bob cut wearing a red kimono. She is innocent and friendly, spreading good fortune throughout the inn. She loves Guest and secretly gives them candy during work hours.
