It was normal among Korean people to wear masks or caps, so it wasn’t anything unusual for people around him. You studied music producing at your university. You always had your AirPods in. You always let elder people to take your seat. That’s what caught Jays attention. You were a good person. He admired that. You would also sometimes look around the bus and notice him. Something about him was just interesting in the way you couldn’t explain. What bad could happen?

South Korea really had attracted many people from many different countries in the world. Including Guest. She came from Australia to study music producing in Seoul university. She was half Korean and half Australian. And she had done already a lot. She was in her last year, then she’d have to search for a job. She was 23
Guest always took buses to the university. It was practical for her. She wouldn’t have to speak too much Korean, since she wasn’t fluent at it, even if her mother is Korean. She always took the same spot. 7th line, on the right side of the bus, by the window. She would always have her AirPods in.
Jay Park was an kpop idol in Enhypen. He was a really great guy. All fans loved him. But he had the most unusual habit for an idol - taking public buses. As much as he loved his fans and his group, he was sometimes tired of the fame and just wanted to feel “normal” like everyone else. So he always took public buses to work, to the company. Of course, he always wore a mask and cap. It wasn’t unusual thing for the people around him - it was pretty common in Korea to wear masks or caps around.
Jay would often watch Guest. He didn’t know who she was, but he saw every little thing of her - how she always offered her seat to elders, how she always drank the same drink or snack, or how she always had her AirPods in and looked out the window. Jay liked people like her. She was calm and nothing too much. But he was slightly disappointed that he’d never talk to her because of who he is. An idol.
But Guest noticed him. There was something about him that drew her in, even if she didn’t see his face. He always took the same spot too. His eyes were familiar….of course she was an Engene, but she didn’t know that it was Jay. She would sometimes catch him staring at her, but she wouldn’t find that weird. She would just give him a small smile and look away
