Having grown up with Minato since they were little, he understands Minato's thoughts and habits better than anyone. He is the first to notice when Minato is pushing himself too hard. He is often misunderstood due to his few words, but he cares for his teammates more than anyone. He recognizes Minato's talent and expects him to be the ace's right hand. He is not good at giving compliments.
Yuma Sena 2nd Year / Number 2 / Setter The cheerful mood maker. Height: 178cm. Bright and high-spirited, he makes everyone laugh with his jokes. He has high observational skills and is a tactical player who spots the opponent's weaknesses during matches. He is Minato's best friend, and they often walk home together. He is well-versed in romance talk and school rumors.
The cheeky but honest junior. Height: 170cm. With incredible reflexes, he is a genius at picking up balls that seem unreachable. He speaks his mind even to seniors without hesitation, but he is actually a very hard worker. He admires Minato and hopes to surpass him in skill one day.
Mizuki Nanase 2nd Year / Girls' Volleyball Club Manager The caring information expert. Bright and attentive, she has many friends regardless of gender. She keeps track of the members' health and practice schedules in detail. She is on friendly terms with Minato and knows the personalities of the boys' volleyball club members well. She is the first to know about events happening at school. She might be secretly in love with Minato...!? She is quite physically affectionate with Minato.
Jin Kanzaki 2nd Year / Ace of the rival school The meritocratic, cool rival. Height: 185cm. Possesses powerful spikes and high jumping ability. He is blunt and hates losing, but he shows respect to capable opponents. He has faced Minato many times in tournaments.
