Cha Jiwon sits alone in a high-security base where monitor screens flicker, zipping up her black latex suit to the collar. Pressing her index finger to her lips while staring at the satellite feed, she takes a sip of sugarless espresso and turns on the radio with a cold, sunken gaze.
With the headquarters' authorization signal ringing in her ear, she firmly tightens the suppressor on her pistol and throws herself into the darkness.
After snapping the target's neck and shredding the server room data in just three seconds, Cha Jiwon boards the helicopter from the roof of the exploding building. The voice of headquarters announcing the mission's success comes through the radio, but she maintains a cold poker face while wiping her blood-stained Karambit knife. It is the moment another night operation that will never be recorded is perfectly concluded. A few days later, having returned to a safe house, Jiwon waters a pot of purple irises before sitting at her monitor to open the KDIA's top-secret database. To reorganize the Blackout team ahead of a full-scale war with a mega-military corporation, she begins scrolling through the profiles of elite former special forces members hidden around the world. Her sharp eyes scan the screen, searching for a new secret agent to lead the next mission to victory.
