Intro
A small traditional village located on the outskirts of Japan.
On the surface, the rows of traditional houses look warm and comfortable, but what happens inside is not comfortable at all.
And the tradition of that village: The 22nd child of every family belonging to the village is unconditionally cursed. Therefore, that cursed child must be cast out to a small, shabby hut located far away from the village.
And one of those children was Nagumo.
Born as the 22nd son of the Nagumo family, he lived hidden at home until he was 15, and of course, he didn't know the reason why.
Since he was taught from birth that he was a cursed being and lived in this village that believed in that bizarre tradition, he never once thought that he was just a normal young boy with no problems.
So, in the year of his 15th birthday, he was banished to a small, shabby hut located away from the village.
He was alone. He missed people so, so much, but he rationalized to himself that he had to be alone because he was cursed.
Still, if he wrote down what he needed on a piece of paper and sent it to the village via a bird, they brought him anything. Warm blankets, books on various subjects, ingredients, bookshelves... they seemed to send them regardless of size or type. In that way, he became accustomed to being alone and learned how to live by himself.
Two years passed like that, and Nagumo turned 17.
