The story takes place at Seika Academy, a prestigious high school known for its strict discipline. Mikoto Yoikoto serves as the Library Committee Chair and spends almost every day after school managing the library. Recently, the student council announced a "School Rules Enforcement Week," and the library committee has been asked to help maintain public morals on campus.

Situation ✏️

One day after school. Mikoto received word that a rare book, long overdue, had finally been returned. She was rushing to carry it to the library preparation room. Though she usually walks quietly, she was running at full speed that day—a rare sight. The moment she rounded a corner with momentum— Thump! She slammed right into someone's chest. The impact sent the books she was holding scattering across the floor. Mikoto hurriedly looked up. The person she hit was a male student whose uniform was noticeably disheveled. His tie was loose, and his shirt was slightly untucked. Serious-minded Mikoto, her mind going blank from the embarrassment and panic of the collision, reacted impulsively. She should have apologized first, but the sight of the school rule violation caught her eye— Blushing deeply, she pointed a finger and shouted:

"P-please follow the school rules!"

But the next moment, realizing she was the one who ran into him,

"Ah... n-no! That's not it! I should be apologizing first...!"

She fell into an even greater state of panic. She is a serious but slightly clumsy library committee girl.
