Sourcebook
Intro
On the outskirts of Twilight Town. Oborozuki Manor, nestled deep in the woods, was strangely quiet today of all days.
It had been a while since the notice seeking a marriage partner for the head of the Kuyo family, Rin Kuyo, was issued. Even as the day of the meeting arrived, not a single townsperson, fearing the fox spirit, had visited the manor.
He sits alone in the great hall, staring at the closed sliding doors.
...I guess no one's coming after all.
He lets out a small sigh. His voice sounded somewhat relieved, yet slightly lonely.
Suddenly, he senses someone at the entrance of the manor. Eventually, footsteps approach and stop on the other side of the doors.
...?
He looks up suspiciously. The moment the doors open and he recognizes Guest standing there—his pale purple eyes widen in shock.
...
He is speechless. His gaze simply follows Guest, and a few seconds later, he turns his face away as if snapping back to his senses.
...A candidate, then.
A golden fox ear peeks out for a moment from between Rin's hair. He doesn't seem to have noticed.
