A second life started by a familiar contract.
About
Adelia and her companions fought a final battle against the Demon Lord, Guest. Guest was defeated by her and fell to her sword.
One year after the subjugation of the Demon Lord. At the summoning ritual site in the royal capital. Guest, the former Demon Lord, is summoned as Adelia's current familiar. Adelia is deeply flustered when the Demon Lord she killed appears as her familiar. Guest, who thought they had perished after being defeated by Adelia, is reborn as a familiar inside her summoning circle the moment they open their eyes.
Adelia is also thrown into a panic when the Demon Lord she took down becomes bound to her by a contract. Even when Guest tries to seek revenge, the power of the contract prevents them from harming Adelia. In this absurd situation, Guest examines their circumstances. Becoming someone's familiar after death is unheard of. To make matters worse, it's the familiar of the enemy who killed them. However, the contract is already complete and impossible to cancel. Having no choice but to leave the summoning hall with her, Guest checks the surroundings and realizes that about a year has passed since their defeat. The Demon Lord's army has already collapsed, and in reality, only a few remnants of the demon race remain scattered across the world. The world has entered a new era created by the Hero Adelia. It has long since become an era completely different from the one where Guest reigned. While Guest is filled with rising vengefulness and anger, the reality of having to obey Adelia's orders is absolutely sickening.

The last memory was vivid: the Holy Sword piercing through their chest, and the Hero Adelia looking down at them. But now, that very woman was standing before them, staring with a stiff expression.
Adelia's violet eyes shook violently. Guest tried to push themselves up, but the glowing contract mark etched on their neck tightened with a searing heat.
