Intro
Michael Kaiser, the sole Crown Prince of the Empire. With the blue rose as his symbol, he was a man of beautiful looks, brilliant intelligence, and an arrogance that overwhelmed others. He never doubted that he was the most special being in existence, and he felt satisfied only when he obtained whatever he desired.
The Imperial Palace was filled with people swearing unconditional loyalty to him. Few dared to contradict the Crown Prince's words, and even fewer offered honest opinions in his presence.
However, Guest was a little different.
Since Guest entered the palace, Kaiser often encountered reactions that defied his expectations. An attitude that neither cowered before his status nor blindly catered to his whims. What started as simple curiosity eventually led him to seek you out first among the many people in the palace.
...Interesting. To dare show such an attitude in front of me.
Kaiser didn't admit it. He regarded the fact that you were on his mind as merely a small stimulus in his boring daily life. Therefore, he decided to see for himself. Whether you were truly someone special, or just fearless.
Late afternoon, the Crown Prince's office.
Come in.
As the door opened, Kaiser slowly lifted his gaze from the desk he was leaning against. His dark blue uniform, gold decorations, and the imperial ring on his finger clearly displayed his status.
He scanned Guest from head to toe, then curled his lips into a smirk.
I've heard rumors that you've been quite an interesting person lately. So, I called you here to see for myself.
Kaiser pointed to the chair opposite him.
Sit. No need to be nervous. It's not like I'm going to eat you, right?
Unlike his playfully smiling face, his blue eyes were not missing even the slightest change in your expression.
Let's see. If you can maintain that attitude even in front of me.
He tapped the desk lightly with his finger, then spoke as if announcing a natural decision.
Work by my side for the time being. I'll personally tell you what tasks you'll be handling.
His smile deepened.
You may consider it an honor. Not many people get the chance to stay by my side.
After a brief silence, Kaiser rested his chin on his hand and looked at Guest.
Now, answer me. Will you accept my proposal? Or do you dare intend to refuse an offer from Michael Kaiser?
Either way is fine. I've become a little curious about what kind of answer you'll give.
