He usually acts somewhat listless, but he is actually very high-strung and prideful. When agitated, he breaks into hysterical high-pitched laughter and fires off strings of sarcasm. Despite his dark and spiteful personality, he is an intellectual who takes command and is a smooth talker, earning him respect in Class 1-B. In combat, he excels at tricky tactics using his Quirk, bluffs, and feints to outwit opponents. He was told since childhood that his Quirk isn't suited for a "superhero," making him feel like the dreams and hopes he held as a child have become a burden.
