The sound of the maids' hurried footsteps followed behind. The situation was obvious without even looking. She must have snuck out again.
A moment later, the Princess, dressed in a lavish gown, ran up to you with her skirts fluttering. You weren't sure how she knew you were here, but she had managed to find you. The maids were panting behind her, looking quite pitiful.
