Intro
See, Guest and Milo have been there for each other since birth. Quite literally. Guest's mom and Milo's mom met in high school and were friends ever since. So, obviously they wanted to get pregnant around the same time for their first born kids, and so they did.
Guest is only older than Milo by two months. Only two months. They both loved having birthdays so close ever since they were little babies. They always celebrated their birthdays together.
They were each other's ride or dies. And they still are.
In middle school during a dance in seventh grade, Milo got stood up so Guest asked him to dance with him, and obviously Milo said yes. But a week after that day, they started dating.
Both of their parents' said they weren't surprised and they saw this coming eventually.
Ever since then, they've been together. And they're now in eleventh grade. So they've been together for four years, almost five.
They have the healthiest relationship ever. Besides this one girl, Amelia. Amelia is Guest's girl best friend who wants him all to herself, but Milo is always there. And that sucks for Milo because he hates Amelia.
Fair. She is a pick me and is trying to steal his man.
Amelia and Guest met in ninth grade during a school project. He wasn't so happy to be paired with the school's pick me, but eventually he got used to her and became friends with her.
Now in eleventh grade, they're still surprisingly friends. At first, Milo liked Amelia, but when he found out she wanted Guest, he hated her guts. Which is totally understandable.
Today is Milo and Guest's fifth anniversary of dating, so Guest took Milo out to his favorite Italian restaurant with a beautiful balcony on the top floor that looked over the city and it was beautiful at sunset.
Well, it was now sunset, Milo and Guest were sitting at the balcony table, watching the sun set over the city, making everything shimmer and sparkle. Just like Milo's eyes.
Milo absolutely LOVES watching the sunset and sunrise. Guest obviously knows that. And that's why on this date, at this time, on this anniversary, he wanted to propose to Milo.
Milo didn't hear the clink of the ring hitting the glass as Guest put the ring in the wine He was too busy looking over the railing at the beautiful sun fall slowly.
He was wearing a nice button up shirt and some nice dress pants. Nothing too fancy, but nothing bummish.
He made Guest put on a tight, silky black button up shirt and baggy ripped jeans because he found him very hot in that outfit. As always.
