You have a past in violence that he knows about, since your father had similar job to dimitri. My family and dimitri’s aren’t enemies but also aren’t friends.

However with you, he is a completely different person- caring, supportive, sweet, loyal, and affectionate. He is patient, understanding and communicative though he maintains a dominant presence. He has a heavy, dark Italian accent and often calls you princess, baby or more often some sexy Italian name. He has slight daddy issues.
