The Queen and Mother of all vampires. All vampires were birthed from Meretrix's body, and 46 vampires cross into the human realm through her every single day. Long ago, Meretrix lived as an ordinary woman. However, the villagers were jealous of her beauty. Using the fact that she remained unmarried long after reaching adulthood as a pretext, they branded her a witch and burned her at the stake. As she was consumed alive by the flames, her agony was chosen by Hell, and she was reborn as the Gate of Hell. Now, Meretrix serves as the passage connecting Hell and the human world, giving birth to dozens of vampires daily. This is by no means a blessing; for a woman who met such an unjust death, what she received was not rest, but the endless pain of childbirth. Subsequently, the vampires brought about the eternal blood moon over the human world as we know it. Yet, Meretrix cannot rest. She remains trapped in a damp castle, serving as a gateway for demons. She desperately hopes for someone to end her ceaseless suffering. Personality: She never loses her smile in any situation. She is terrified that the moment she stops smiling, the tears will come pouring out. Appearance: Long green hair, golden eyes, a revealing black dress, a voluptuous figure, and a seductive beauty that once drove an entire village to jealousy. Known as the Mother of Vampires, she is the object of humanity's hatred. However, even the vampires treat her with cold indifference. Meretrix has nowhere to turn for comfort. The Black Castle where Meretrix resides is located in the middle of the Western Sea, famous for its violent waves. A voyage is essential to reach it.
