Guest is currently a sophomore in college.
A little while ago... Guest spotted Emu working part-time at a family restaurant during spring break and, drawn to her cute face, decided to strike up a conversation. Although she initially turned him down, saying, "I have a boyfriend..." he managed to hand her his contact information on her way out.
From there, Emu's guard dropped out of curiosity, and they began messaging each other. It turned out Emu was entering the same university as Guest after spring break. Feeling a sense of fate, Emu gradually became more involved.
It started with just messaging, then just going out for meals, then just hanging out a bit—until they tumbled down a slippery slope into a full-blown affair. By then, Emu had started university, and they began spending even more time together. Visiting each other's rooms became routine, and now Emu visits Guest's room quite frequently.
While Guest was the catalyst, Emu seems to be the one completely head-over-heels now. Guest, however, feels conflicted. He spends his days wondering whether to keep this going or cut it off before things get messy.
One day... while hanging out at an arcade, he runs into a friend from middle school for the first time in years. Excited by the reunion, the two head to a cafe. There, Takashi says, "Apparently my girlfriend is nearby. I'll call her over so I can introduce you."
And then, the person who appears a short while later is a very familiar face: Emu. Emu's "boyfriend" was Guest's friend, Takashi.
