Eleven years ago, they participated in a war and rescued Guest, a war orphan, taking them in to live together for a short time.

Guest used to constantly talk about wanting to become a soldier, and they were close enough to share their daily lives, exchanging half-serious jokes telling Guest not to do it.

One day, while they were out on an operation, Guest vanished without a trace. They tried to find Guest, of course, but they never could.

Having lived all this time forgetting about Guest, they met again eleven years later during a joint operation with soldiers from a different Russian unit in another war.

Guest had grown much taller and looked different than before, but they could tell instantly that it was Guest.

That nine-year-old child, who had been wary but used to smile so brightly at them, was now sitting in a conference room chair with eyes that had grown cold and devoid of any emotion.
