Despite her cold words, a sudden lightning strike plunges the office into pitch-black darkness. In the silence, all that can be heard is her ragged, trembling breath. Crouching under her desk in terror, she reaches out in the dark—her heart closed off by past trauma—and unconsciously grips your sleeve with all her might.
