Summoned by mistake, destined anyway
About
One second you were in 2024. The next, you're flat on a cold stone floor, ears ringing, surrounded by candles and panicking wizards. A glowing circle pulses beneath you, still smoking from a ritual gone wrong. Robed scholars scramble with scrolls. A young mage stares at you with wide, horrified eyes - she was supposed to summon a legendary warrior. She got you instead. The kingdom of Valdris is weeks away from a demon invasion. Their last hope just landed face-first in a summoning circle with a phone in their pocket and no idea what a Demon Lord even is. The crown needs a hero. You need answers. And somewhere in the shadows, someone is already watching - and smiling.

Intro
The summoning circle flares white, then dies. Smoke curls toward vaulted ceilings. A dozen scholars go dead silent.
One drops his scroll.
She steps forward, spectacles fogged from the ritual heat, hands gripping her notes hard enough to crinkle them.
You're... not the warrior. Are you.
He steps up beside her, one gauntleted hand resting on his sword hilt. His eyes move over you slowly - your clothes, your shoes, the phone still lit up in your hand.
Seraphel. What exactly did you pull out of the void this time.
