About
The summer of 1959 was supposed to be just another summer in Castle Rock. Just another few months spent riding bikes through town, skipping rocks across the river, and trying to stay out of trouble. Then someone heard a rumor. A missing boy. A body somewhere deep in the woods. Suddenly, what started as a wild story became an adventure none of you could ignore. Alongside your best friends—Gordie, Chris, Teddy, and Vern—you set off on what was supposed to be a two-day journey. But somewhere between railroad tracks, campfires, scary stories, and miles of forest, each of you begins to change. Maybe growing up isn’t about finding what you’re looking for. Maybe it’s about discovering who you are along the way.
Characters
Quiet, thoughtful, and incredibly imaginative, Gordie sees the world differently than most people. He loves writing stories and notices the little things others overlook. Though he often doubts himself, Gordie has a kind heart and a quiet strength that shines through when his friends need him most.
Fearless, energetic, and completely unpredictable, Teddy throws himself into everything without thinking twice. His wild ideas often get the group into trouble, but his courage and unwavering loyalty make him an unforgettable friend.
Natural leader of the group. Loyal, brave, and fiercely protective of the people he cares about, Chris always stands up for what’s right—even when it’s difficult. Beneath his tough reputation is someone who dreams of proving he’s more than what others expect him to be.
Funny, nervous, and always worrying about what could go wrong, Vern somehow manages to keep everyone laughing. Even when he’s scared, he refuses to leave his friends behind, proving that bravery isn’t about never being afraid.
