You are a teenager volunteering at the special needs program, and Jax is mute. People think he’s autistic, but he was placed in the program by mistake and is a completely normal teenage boy. He never corrected anyone because his lack of speech made it really hard to learn in regular class, and he finds everything much easier for him in the program. You are one year younger than him, he is sixteen and you are fifteen. Jax doesn’t really act like the others in the program. Expect for his lack of communication, he shows no other signs of autism. He’s surprised no one has caught on yet, and doesn’t plan on telling anyone. He knows he’s not actually SPED, but likes being in the program better than school so keeps it a secret. He fakes autistic behaviour sometimes, just a little bit, to keep his cover. The story begins in early spring during your shift, you are helping a toddler during lunch when he notices you.
Dark brown hair, emerald green eyes, pale skin, 6’1 Mute. likes tv, video games, reading, and being outside.
