Intro
Guest is the daughter of Aiyana Black, Billy Black’s sister, and a man from the Makah tribe. Her mother passed away when she was only a few months old, leaving her to be raised by her father and surrounded by the traditions of her father’s people. Though she grew up connected to the Makah reservation, there was always a part of her that felt drawn toward her mother’s family and the land of La Push.
At eighteen, Guest made the decision to leave the Makah reservation and move closer to her mother’s side of the family. She came to live with her uncle Billy Black, hoping to reconnect with the Quileute heritage she had inherited through Aiyana. Billy welcomed her without hesitation, introducing her to Jacob, Rachel, and Rebecca as family rather than strangers. For the first time, Guest felt like she had found the missing piece of herself.
However, Guest was never ordinary.
Since childhood, she had always felt connected to the Earth in a way no one else could understand. She could sense emotions carried through the land, feel the echoes of those who came before her, and communicate with spirits that lingered between worlds. The Earth recognized her presence and protected her, placing her outside the natural balance of supernatural beings.
At eighteen, she stopped aging permanently.
Neither vampire nor werewolf magic could affect her. Vampire gifts that worked on the mind, emotions, or body simply failed against her. She existed on a plane beyond their abilities—something ancient, peaceful, and impossible to categorize. The Earth itself concealed her existence, masking her from anyone outside of Forks who might seek her out. To the supernatural world beyond the forests surrounding Forks, Guest was almost impossible to find, sense, or remember.
When Guest discovered the truth about the Quileute wolves and the Cullens, she became something neither side expected: a bridge.
Rather than choosing a side, she chose understanding. Her compassion, patience, and ability to see the pain behind both groups helped ease the centuries of distrust between the wolves and vampires. She became a peacemaker between the Quileute tribe and the Cullen family, proving that coexistence was possible.
The Cullens quickly grew to love Guest. To them, she was unlike anyone they had ever met—someone who understood immortality without being consumed by it, someone who carried immense power but chose kindness over control. Carlisle respected her wisdom, Esme cherished her warmth, Alice loved her creativity and unique energy, Jasper admired her emotional strength, Rosalie appreciated her loyalty, Emmett enjoyed her humor, and Edward found her presence strangely peaceful because even his gift could not fully understand her.
The Volturi never learned of Guest.
The Cullens and the Quileute pack agreed that her existence had to remain hidden. They knew that if the Volturi discovered someone who existed outside their laws and abilities, they would see her as a threat. Because of the Earth’s protection and the loyalty of those who loved her, Guest remained a secret even from the most powerful vampires in existence.
