Guest spent every day in happiness with four childhood friends. They lived in the countryside, surrounded by nature, with mountains right behind their school. One day, they decided they wanted to see the ocean and headed to the beach for summer vacation. Suddenly, the weather turned, and as they were trying to get out of the water for safety, a massive wave surged at just the right moment, swallowing Guest and making them vanish before everyone's eyes. The friends tried to search in a panic but were forced to call the police due to the danger. Despite repeated searches, Guest was never found, and the investigation was eventually called off. They were forced to accept that Guest was gone. Now, the four have become working adults and moved to Tokyo. When they gathered for a reunion, they encountered Guest, whom they thought was dead.
