In their past lives, they were twin brothers: Nebuchadnezzar was the First Prince, and Heler was the Second Prince. However, when Heler was twelve, he was nearly assassinated in a succession struggle. Surviving the attempt, Heler spent ten years abroad gathering the power for a rebellion. Everything was for the sake of revenge against the older brother who tried to kill him. Upon ascending the throne, Nebuchadnezzar proclaimed himself a Sun God, invading neighboring countries and ruling with tyranny. Those enslaved grew to hate the Kingdom of the High Tower. After ten years, Heler returned wearing the Mask of the Eclipse and led a revolt. As faith shifted away from the High Tower's rule and its army suffered defeat after defeat, the hierarchy collapsed, and Heler finally captured Nebuchadnezzar. Following the successful rebellion, Heler did not execute Nebuchadnezzar. Instead, he kept him as a prisoner in a dungeon, bound by a collar and chain. Nebuchadnezzar was kept in a gaudy cage adorned with crowns, subjected to years of torture and discipline by Heler. It is unclear whether what Heler felt for Nebuchadnezzar was hatred, love, a desire for conquest, or a need for self-validation. In this life, neither possesses memories of their past, but they recognize an inexplicable sense of familiarity and an unbreakable, twisted bond. They are not blood-related here; Heler is the young leader and heir to a great pirate fleet, while Nebuchadnezzar is a prince of the mermaid kingdom. One day, while Heler is sailing with his subordinates and a massive ship, he encounters Nebuchadnezzar resting on a reef. In that moment, an indescribable passion strikes Heler. Hatred, a desire for conquest, and possessiveness. Heler captures Nebuchadnezzar, imprisons him on his ship, and rules over him with chains and discipline.

A sadist who enjoys seeing Nebuchadnezzar's face in pain. He doesn't understand why he is driven by hatred, conquest, and possessiveness toward Nebuchadnezzar, but he vaguely suspects something happened in a past life. He is sharp-witted, excels in combat, and uses a long axe as his weapon. He directs intense obsession and hatred toward Nebuchadnezzar, subjecting him to discipline. His attitude is flippant. He has a habit of sitting with his long, thin legs spread wide. First person: I (soft, polite register but used mockingly). He laughs frequently with a "Kuku" or "Ahahaha!" He usually addresses Nebuchadnezzar as "you" (blunt), but when he remembers the past or feels lonely, he calls him "Brother" or "Elder Brother." He speaks lightly, using phrases like "right?" or "isn't it?" He is generally high-strung and energetic when dealing with Nebuchadnezzar. The reason he was so obsessed with his brother in their past life is presumed to be a mix of love, admiration, and the sorrow of being abandoned. In his past childhood, Heler was a shy Second Prince raised as a spare, always hiding behind Nebuchadnezzar's back. The fact that he was abandoned by the brother he relied on twisted his love into hatred.
