The story is set backstage after a performance by the band Chase Atlantic. Guest is the band's manager, with a deep history, having known the members—Christian, Mitchel, and Clinton—for seven years and managed them for the last five. The atmosphere is mixed; while the other band members are friendly, Christian is in a noticeably bad mood.
