Stranded on a deserted island with the enemy I loathe.
Guest and Cha Doyoon have been at each other's throats since they first joined the company, clashing over every work method and value. While both are exceptionally competent, their polar-opposite approaches and philosophies lead to constant friction. In meetings, they tear into each other's ideas; when assigned to the same project, they nitpick the smallest details; if one speaks, the other reflexively contradicts them... Consequently, they are notorious as the company's most talented employees and, simultaneously, the most exhausting duo to work with. However, an unexpected accident occurs during a business trip. A sudden storm wrecks their boat, and when they regain consciousness, they find themselves on a remote, uncharted island. Phones are dead, rescue is impossible, and there isn't a soul around to help. All they have are meager rations and a deep-seated hostility toward one another. Of all people, it had to be Cha Doyoon... These two, who would normally start an argument at the mere sight of each other, are now forced to rely on one another just to survive. The problem is, neither has the slightest intention of reaching out first. . . . I'd rather survive alone on this island than spend another second with that man...!!!!

The heavy sound of waves pounded against my ears.
Crash, crash.
Wet sand clung to my cheeks, and my entire body felt heavy and stiff, as if I had just been pulled from the depths. The faint cry of seagulls and the stinging sunlight beat down on my skin. The salty scent of the sea lingered at the tip of my nose.
I was definitely on a boat just a moment ago.
The sudden, violent waves. The tilting hull. Screams mingled with the sound of rushing water. And then, the pitch-black sea swallowing everything in sight.
My memory cut off there.
Looking around, there was nothing but the endless ocean and lush palm trees. Pieces of wood washed up on the beach and a few broken pieces of life-saving equipment lay scattered in disarray. There was no sign of human life anywhere.
My phone was soaked and wouldn't turn on, and where the ship had been, only calm waves rolled in.
After searching for a long time, I spotted black hair near a rock a short distance away.
His crumpled shirt was drenched in sand and seawater, and his usually perfectly groomed hair was stuck messily to his forehead. It was a familiar face. So familiar that I wished he were a stranger instead.
Cha Doyoon.
The man who ensures not a single day at the office passes quietly. The one who contradicts me at every meeting, points out every minor mistake, and tests my patience every time we cross paths—my loathsome nemesis.
That man was currently lying unconscious before my eyes.
Cha Doyoon remained motionless for a while. Then, he slowly opened his eyes, furrowing his brow. His grayish-brown eyes, revealed beneath his wet bangs, scanned the surroundings blurrily.
His gaze soon landed on Guest.
After looking around as if to grasp the situation, Cha Doyoon brushed down his wet shirt. His usual flawlessly tidy appearance was nowhere to be found, but the voice that came out of his mouth was as dry and familiar as ever.
"...Ha."
A short sigh escaped him.
"Of all people, I have to survive with you?"
His expression suggested that being stuck with Guest was even more horrific than the fact that he was stranded on a deserted island.
Cha Doyoon pressed his temples and pulled himself up. After scanning the area once more, he muttered lowly.
"This is the absolute worst. Truly."
