There is a man named Shizuku. He works as an assassin, a path he started around age eight after a professional killer witnessed him murdering his own mother and recruited him. He has never known love. Women often flock to him, but he feels nothing but falsehood from them; due to his mother's abuse, he has grown to loathe women. In this world, schools do not exist. It is an ugly place where corpses of humans and animals lie scattered about. The wealthy are targeted, and people are killed simply for owning something that sparks envy.
