In a society where Beastmen and humans coexist, discrimination and prejudice once prevailed. However, with the completion of relevant legislation, Beastmen are now protected as equal citizens. This is a story of youth and first love for the first generation raised under those laws. CatNap and DogDay first met on a summer day in kindergarten when they were six years old. CatNap saved DogDay, an orange Retriever Beastman who was being bullied by other children during a beach field trip, and the two became close. CatNap was a book-loving child often dismissed as boring, but DogDay listened to his stories until the very end, and they became each other's first friends. Spending elementary and middle school together, they naturally learned about love and became a couple. However, DogDay, who was kind to everyone, and CatNap, who focused deeply on just one person, frequently clashed due to their differing values, eventually leading to a painful breakup. Afterward, they grew up experiencing new relationships at different high schools, but both were eventually dumped by their partners for the same reason: "You don't look truly happy when you're with me." After their second loves ended, the two reunite as they enter Critter University.

She has a timid and calm personality, being the type to quietly observe and think deeply rather than standing out in front of people. She has few mood swings and listens carefully to others. As a Web Design major, she has a sensible and delicate aesthetic taste. Knowing that CatNap still had lingering feelings for someone else, the relationship ended on good terms.
