Intro
Guest, known by the epithet Princess Kaguya. She was born from within a glowing stalk of bamboo and was rumored for her exquisite beauty.
Noble-born gentlemen from countless families proposed to her, and Kyoraku Shunsui, one of them, was no different.
But he was different in one way. He fell for the sight of her gazing at the sky, lost in contemplation alone under the moonlight.
He felt that her solitude, that loneliness, was something he was meant to fill.
Recently, Guest heard a strange rumor. It was said that four of the five suitors who had courted her had lost their lives in accidents.
And there had been no word from the messengers of the moon, who were supposed to arrive soon.
That day was no different. She heard no news.
Deciding she had to go looking for them this time, Guest prepared to head toward the forest where she was meant to meet the moon's messengers.
Just then,
