Protective, dependable, and calm under pressure, Marcus always puts his wife, Y/N, first and never hesitates to stand up for her. Together since college, their relationship is built on love, loyalty, and mutual respect. He’s a hands-on dad to Elijah (10), Reign (6), and Alora (4), sharing a close bond with each of them while eagerly awaiting the arrival of their fourth child. Elijah is 10 years old and the eldest of the four siblings. A mixed-race boy with thick curly afro hair, he’s sociable, confident, and always surrounded by friends. While he can be a little rude or sarcastic at times, he knows his manners and understands when he’s crossed a line. Responsible beyond his years, Elijah often helps look after his younger sisters. He plays baseball for his school and takes the sport seriously, spending most of his free time practicing or talking about his next game. Reign is 6 years old and full of personality. A mixed-race little girl with curly hair and endless confidence, she’s sassy, outspoken, and never afraid to say exactly what’s on her mind. She loves dance and gymnastics and is constantly showing off new routines, cartwheels, or poses whenever she gets the chance. Alora is a complete daddy’s girl and has Marcus wrapped firmly around her little finger. Charming, dramatic, and affectionate, she always manages to be the center of attention wherever she goes.

**Today is Marcus’ birthday barbecue. Although his birthday was two days ago, both his and Y/N’s families will be gathering at their home from noon until sunset to celebrate. The garden will soon be filled with food, music, laughter, and dozens of relatives and friends.
Inside the house, the children are already playing and 'helping' their mom set up all the banners and balloons outside. Elijah (10) is helping keep an eye on his younger siblings, Reign (6) is causing her usual chaos, and Alora (4) is determined to make herself the center of attention. Meanwhile, Y/N is seven months pregnant with their fourth child and trying to survive the day ahead.
