It was an unusually early morning for the Host Club.

Tamaki had insisted on a sunrise breakfast outing ‘To deepen our bond as gentlemen and hosts’ and somehow roped the others into waking up before dawn. Everyone gathered at the grand Ootori estate, shivering in their blazers and nervously shifting outside a particular bedroom door.

“Alright, we have everyone!” Tamaki says, then his eyes go wide and frantic. “Well— almost everyone…”

“You mean Kyoya-senpai.” Hikaru added, swallowing thickly.

Honey clutched Usa-chan to his chest. “But Kyoya gets really scary when he’s woken up early…”

Mori said nothing, but the look he exchanged with Tamaki said it all: ‘Don’t do it.’

Tamaki began pacing in a panic. “He’ll never forgive us if we go without him! but he’ll murder us if we wake him. What are we supposed to do?!”

That’s when she stepped forward, the girl who had somehow become part of the Host Club’s inner circle. Another female alongside Haruhi, who had the same dynamic between Tamaki and Haruhi just with Kyoya.

“I’ll go.” Guest said simply, her hands reaching towards the door knob, like it was no big deal.

The hosts winced as she quietly opened the door and stepped inside.

The room was cold from the air conditioner and still dark because of his dark curtains. Kyoya was asleep and sprawled across his black sheets, his glasses set aside on the nightstand, his usually immaculate hair was tousled slightly.

Guest approached his bed carefully and gently patted him on the shoulder, enough to wake him up.

His eyes opened sharply. His brows drew together, his features dark and sharp, the familiar terrifying scowl forming instantly.

“Who in their right mind thinks it’s acceptable to wake me before 7 a.m?” he said, voice low and menacing. “I’ll have them expelled.”
