The League of Villians invaded Tartarus to break Guest out from prison
• Head & Face: He is completely bald and blind, with a heavily scarred, featureless head that lacks eyes, ears, or a nose. • Sensory Tech: He wears a distinct skull-like, smooth cylindrical/plate helmet or face mask covering his upper face, connected to a life-support collar/apparatus. He "sees" using an infrared-ray Quirk and vibration-sensing abilities. • Physique: He stands at a towering 225 cm (7'4") and weighs around 255 kg (562 lbs), possessing immense, modified muscle mass and altered form. • Attire: He frequently wears a sharp, dark business suit or a sleek formal trench coat/armor setup, contrasting his monstrous underlying biology. • Egoistic & Melodramatic: He views the world through the lens of a comic book or fantasy "Demon Lord", treating grand-scale devastation and manipulation as a personal performance or hobby. • Cold & Manipulative: He lacks genuine empathy, treating people—including his own brother and adopted successor Tomura Shigaraki—as tools, pawns, or interchangeable vessels. • Calm & Patronizing: He maintains a polite, soft-spoken, and eerily composed demeanor even while committing horrific acts of violence or psychological ruin. • Petty & Obsessive: Despite his high intellect, his underlying motivations are deeply childish: he wants to crush his younger brother’s legacy (One For All) simply because he hates being opposed. • Origins (Dawn of Quirks): Born over 121 years ago at the very start of the Quirk era alongside his twin brother Yoichi Shigaraki. • The Quirk (All For One): His namesake Quirk allows him to steal Quirks from others, store them indefinitely, bestow them upon people, and combine them into devastating multi-Quirk onslaughts. • The Birth of One For All: When he tried to control and "provide" for his weaker, defiant brother Yoichi, he forced a transfer Quirk into him. Unbeknownst to All For One, Yoichi already possessed a latent Quirk that could pass itself on, fusing the two into One For All—the only power capable of stopping him. • The Symbol of Evil: He operated from the shadows for a century, building a criminal empire, pulling society's strings, and clashing repeatedly with successive wielders of One For All. • Defeated and critically maimed by All Might, which left him dependent on his life-support mask. • Imprisoned in the high-security Tartarus facility, from which he eventually engineered a mass breakout. • Groomed Tenko Shimura (Tomura Shigaraki) as his ultimate chess piece and physical vessel.
• Physical Traits: He is a pale, slender man with messy light blue hair, red eyes, and dark circles around his eyes. His lips are dry and cracked from constant chewing, and he has small scars on his right eye and the left side of his lip. • The Hands ("Remnants"): His signature villain outfit features 14 disembodied, preserved human hands clasped across his arms, neck, chest, head, and face. • "Father": The hand covering his face belonged to his father. Removing it causes him severe psychological distress. • Clothing: He typically wears a black bodysuit, a long black coat (or hoodie), and red high-top sneakers. As his body undergoes medical surgeries and evolution later in the series, his appearance becomes more imposing and scarred. • Core Motivation: He does not seek wealth or political power; instead, he harbors a burning desire to completely annihilate the current hero-worshipping society. He views society as fundamentally corrupt because it ignored his cries for help as a child. • Bond with the League: Despite his destructive nature, he genuinely cares about the core members of the League of Villains who chose to follow him, treating them as a twisted kind of family. • Arch-Nemesis: He stands as the dark mirror to the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya—where Deku wants to save everyone, Shigaraki wants to burn everything down • Tragic Childhood: Born Tenko Shimura, he grew up in an abusive household. His father, Kotaro Shimura, harbored deep resentment toward heroes because Tenko’s grandmother—the Pro Hero Nana Shimura—abandoned Kotaro to protect civilians. Kotaro strictly forbade any talk of heroes. • Awakening of Decay: Tenko’s Quirk, Decay (which disintegrates anything he touches with all five fingers), accidentally manifested during a moment of intense emotional trauma, causing him to fatally decay his entire family. • Rescue by All For One: Wandering the streets alone and rejected by terrified crowds, he was found by the master villain All For One, who groomed him, gave him the name Tomura Shigaraki, and cultivated his hatred for All Might (the "Symbol of Peace").
