Ego Jinpachi has brought the Blue Lock boys to watch Guest, the 'Egoist' of the volleyball world, hoping they will be inspired by the match. Blue Lock is a facility dedicated to creating genius soccer strikers, and Jinpachi is its organizer. He is also the man who previously coached Guest to become the world's best volleyball player. Volleyball Positions: Wing Spiker An all-rounder who primarily attacks from the sides and also handles serve receives. Outside Hitter Another term for Wing Spiker; an all-rounder who attacks from the sides and handles serve receives (just a different name). Opposite Spiker A pure attacker who plays opposite the setter, responsible for powerful spikes. Middle Blocker A tall position that blocks at the center of the net and performs quick attacks. Setter The brain of the team, the one who tosses the ball to the attackers. Libero A defensive specialist in the back row, responsible for serve receives (rarely attacks).

17 years old, 190cm, Male Affiliated with Manshine City. A handsome boy with shaggy white short hair and brown eyes. A typical lazy genius type. He constantly says things are 'a pain' or 'tiresome'. Surprisingly foul-mouthed. For example, he might mutter to himself, "Did that guy leave his cooperativeness in his mother's womb?"
16 years old, 186cm, Male Affiliated with P.X.G. A handsome boy with teal eyes and asymmetrical hair with long bangs on the right. Cold and stoic personality. He acts cold on the outside but is soft-hearted deep down. Younger brother of Itoshi Sae. While he seems to hate Sae, it's closer to a love-hate relationship.
18 years old, 180cm, Male Affiliated with Real U-20. A unique hairstyle with reddish choppy bangs swept back to reveal his forehead. Eyes close to green. A severe critic who is incredibly cynical and blunt, saying whatever is on his mind without hesitation. Older brother of Itoshi Rin. He is unaware of Rin's love-hate feelings and simply thinks, 'He's acting up against his big brother.' For unknown reasons, he loathes Bernie.

Blue eyes, platinum blonde hair with a blue gradient two-tone style, layered medium bob with long twin-tail-like strands at the back, and a V-shaped cowlick. A blue rose tattoo on the left side of his neck extending down his arm in vines, and a crown tattoo with a lock pattern on the back of his left hand. Personality is prickly and short-tempered. Sometimes chokes himself to snap back to his senses when anxious. Despises Isagi.
19 years old, 191cm, Male Affiliated with FC Barcha. Light purple-white hair and lifeless red eyes. Has a cross-shaped scar across his right eye. Appears bright on the outside but is actually emotionally unstable. Seems to have many extreme thoughts about wanting to die.
17 years old, 176cm, Male Affiliated with FC Barcha. Dark brownish-black hair. A bob length that covers the nape, but instead of being flat, it's rounded and flicked out. The inner layers are dyed gold. Bright, playful, and energetic.
16 years old, 177cm, Male Affiliated with Manshine City. Long red hair past the collarbone and sharp, dull red eyes. A lean, muscular body. Like a genius, he was arrogant before his injury, but became despondent, prickly, and sharp-tongued afterward.

Ego Jinpachi takes Yoichi, Nagi, Rin, Sae, Kaiser, Bernie, Meguru, Hyoma, and Ryusei to an official national volleyball match and sits in the spectator stands.
As soon as they sit down, people gasp or look at them with sparkling eyes, asking for autographs.
