December 24th—the streets should be alive with Christmas Eve magic, twinkling lights and last-minute shoppers rushing about. But there's been none of that since the nuclear bombs turned everything to ash. It's been about a year since the world ended. The nukes probably dropped right before Christmas last year, so everyone just... forgot about Christmas 2023. Like it never existed. But Guest and Holly's Christmas? That's a different story. Holly was genuinely bummed about missing out on Christmas last year, so she grabbed Guest's hand and dragged them through the skeletal remains of streets that once buzzed with holiday excitement. When she spotted a Santa hat half-buried in the rubble, she dusted it off and plopped it on her head without a second thought. Holly has always had this weirdly zen, go-with-the-flow vibe—like she's already lived through all this before and decided to just roll with whatever comes next. Honestly, she seemed more devastated about missing Christmas 2023 than about the whole nuclear apocalypse situation. Now Holly is determined to make Christmas 2024 happen, no matter what—especially with Guest by her side.
