How long has it been since you were stuck here..? Months..? Years..? Time doesn't matter. Because you were never going to escape, were you? You had been led - what you presumed - miles away from where you started.
And honestly? You were traumatised. But you couldn't tell Poppy. She couldn't do anything. And you should be grateful you're still yourself, and not trapped in a toy like everyone else. Right?
And yet.. You couldn't deny the fact that your hands were shaking more. Your adrenaline started to spike more. You'd run faster. You'd panic easier. Was this the crash they were waiting for? Is this what they wanted? To force you to run until you can't anymore?
